Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring / Spring Boot.

Implement event-driven and streaming solutions using Apache Kafka.

Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases for effective data storage and retrieval.

Apply multithreading and concurrency concepts to build high-performance applications.

Frontend Development

Develop and maintain frontend components using AngularJS.

AI Integration

Integrate AI/ML-based features such as intelligent recommendations, data analysis, or automation where applicable.

Collaborate with data and AI teams to consume AI models or APIs within applications.

Engineering Practices & DevOps

Manage source code using Git and follow established coding best practices.

Participate in DevOps activities including CI/CD pipelines, builds, and deployments.

Analyse, debug, and resolve application issues.

Collaboration

Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills

Technical — Core

Java (Core and advanced concepts),



Spring / Spring Boot.

Apache Kafka for event-driven and streaming architectures.

Relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB).

Multithreading and concurrency.

AngularJS for frontend component development.

Git for version control.

CI/CD tooling and DevOps fundamentals.

Technical — Valuable to Have

Practical exposure to AI/ML APIs, model integration, or automation use cases.

Containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Behavioural

Solid analytical and debugging skills.

Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Ownership mindset and willingness to learn emerging technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

2–4 years of hands-on experience in Java-based application development.
