Job Description

A reputed NSE/BSE Stock Broking Firm based in Mumbai invites applications for the post of Computer Engineer / IT System Administrator. The candidate will independently manage the firm's IT ecosystem and must be based in Mumbai.

Experience: Minimum 3–6 years (Stock Broking / Financial Services - IT experience preferred)

n

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Computer Engineering/IT or equivalent

n

RESPONSIBILITIES:

n

Hardware Management

n

n
- Maintenance, troubleshooting & upkeep of desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, UPS, and other peripherals
n
- Hardware procurement, installation, and vendor coordination for AMC/repairs
n
- Management of leased lines, routers, switches, and related connectivity hardware
n

n

Software Management

n

n
- Installation, configuration & maintenance of operating systems, antivirus, office suites, and other applications used by the firm
n
- Timely software updates, patches, and license renewals
n
- Troubleshooting of software issues across all departments
n

n

Front Office

n

n
- Operation & maintenance of NSE/BSE trading terminals and related trading platforms (NEAT, GREEK, DATAMAN, etc.)
n
- Ensuring uninterrupted trading connectivity during market hours
n




- Coordination with exchanges and vendors for terminal-related issues, upgrades, and certifications
n

n

Back Office

n

n
- Administration and support for back-office software (settlement, contract notes, client reporting, MIS)
n
- Data backups, restoration, and disaster recovery procedures
n
- Report generation and data extraction as required by management
n

n

Administration & Compliance

n

n
- Assistance in system audits (internal & statutory) and cybersecurity audits
n
- Ensuring IT compliance with SEBI, NSE, BSE, and CDSL/NSDL circulars and guidelines
n
- Maintenance of IT documentation, logs, asset registers, and audit trails
n
- Filing and tracking of regulatory IT compliance requirements
n
- Coordination with auditors, compliance officers, and regulatory bodies on IT-related matters
n

LAN & Server Management

n

n
- Network design, configuration, and administration (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi)
n
- Server administration, monitoring, and maintenance
n
- Firewall, VPN, and security management
n
- Internet and email infrastructure management
n

n
