Skills & experience needed:
Strong proficiency in SQL (Joins, Subqueries, CTEs, Window Functions, Aggregations).
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Charts, Data Validation).
Experience with Tableau for dashboard creation and data visualization.
Valuable understanding of data analysis, data cleaning, and data validation techniques.
Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to derive actionable insights.
Basic knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R for data analysis.
Robust understanding of KPIs, business metrics, and reporting.
Experience in creating reports, dashboards, and MIS for stakeholders.
Knowledge of database concepts (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
Robust analytical thinking, problem-solving,



and communication skills.

Desirable but not essential:
Experience with ETL processes and data integration tools.
Knowledge of statistics and probability for data-driven decision making.
Familiarity with Big Data technologies (Apache Spark, Hadoop).
Experience with Python visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Plotly, Seaborn).
Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Azure Synapse).
Knowledge of DAX (Power BI) or Tableau Calculated Fields.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
Experience with automation and scripting for recurring reports.
Understanding of A/B testing, forecasting, and predictive analytics.
Exposure to Machine Learning basics and predictive modeling is an added advantage.
