Job Title: Senior Microsoft Fabric Developer/ Senior Data Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Fabric Developer with strong hands-on experience in building modern data platforms. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable data solutions using Fabric and Azure data services.

Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering & Development
Design and build data solutions using:
Lakehouse, Warehouse, and OneLake in Fabric
Fabric Data Pipelines and Dataflows Gen2
Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using:
Azure Data Factory
Azure Synapse Analytics
Azure Databricks
Implement transformations using PySpark / Python notebooks
Data Modeling & Architecture Implementation
Implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold layers)
Develop optimized data models (star/snowflake schemas)
Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance
Work with architects to align with data governance and standards
Power BI Development




Build and optimize Power BI semantic models using Power BI
Implement:
Row-Level Security (RLS)
Incremental refresh
Aggregations and performance tuning
Create reusable datasets and dashboards for business users
Modernization & Migration
Contribute to migration initiatives:
SSIS ? Fabric
ADF / Synapse ? Fabric Pipelines
On-prem SQL ? OneLake
Refactor legacy pipelines into contemporary Fabric-based solutions

Required Skills
Robust hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (1 year)
Expertise in PySpark, SQL, and Python
Experience with Azure data ecosystem tools
Solid understanding of:
Data warehousing concepts
Lakehouse architecture
ETL/ELT design patterns

Positive to Have
Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices
Experience working in large-scale data platforms
Microsoft certifications (Fabric / Azure)
