Position: SAP ILM Consultant

NJob Summary:

NWe are seeking an experienced SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) Consultant with strong expertise in Customer Master Data Archiving, end-to-end archiving processes, and legal compliance requirements. The candidate should possess hands-on experience in implementing and supporting SAP ILM solutions, data retention management, legal hold processes, and archive administration across SAP landscapes.

NKey Responsibilities

- Design, configure, and support SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) solutions.

- Perform end-to-end ILM activities, including data retention, archiving, legal hold, and data destruction processes.
N
- Manage and execute Customer Master Data Archiving activities in SAP systems.
N
- Configure and maintain archiving objects, retention rules and residence rules.
N
- Execute and monitor archive jobs, archive administration, and archive retrieval processes.
N
- Support Legal Hold Management to ensure compliance with regulatory and business requirements.
N
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data retention policies and compliance requirements.
N
- Analyze data volume growth and recommend archiving strategies for system optimization.




- Troubleshoot archiving and ILM-related issues and provide root cause analysis.

- Participate in system upgrades, ILM enhancements, and testing activities.
N
- Prepare process documentation, technical specifications, and knowledge transfer documents.
N
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and corporate governance standards.

nRequired Skills:

- Strong knowledge of SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM).

- Hands-on experience in Customer Master Data Archiving.
N
- Experience in SAP Data Archiving and Archive Administration.

- Good understanding of Retention Management, Retention Policies, and Residence Rules.

- Working knowledge of Legal Hold functionality and compliance processes.
N
- Experience in executingend-to-end ILM activities.
N
- Expertise in archiving object configurations and archiving lifecycle management.
N
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into ILM solutions.
N
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
N
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments.
N
- Familiarity with SAP Data Volume Management (DVM).
