Brief: We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to design, build, and scale web applications end-to-end using the MERN stack. This role covers both frontend architecture and server-side/code infrastructure — building performant APIs, optimizing databases, and owning deployment pipelines — while also integrating AI/LLM capabilities (chatbots, RAG pipelines, AI-assisted workflows) into product features. You'll work across the stack, from UI performance to backend scalability to third-party and AI integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Tools &

- Backend Engineer (D2C)

- Core Focus: Building and scaling internal tech tools, operational dashboards, and backend systems for Scrubsy (purely internal tooling and data workflows, no consumer-facing frontend)
- Product Ownership: Direct stakeholder communication and requirement gathering to translate business needs into technical execution autonomously.
- Tech Stack: Node.js, React.js, Express, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and internal tooling frameworks.
- Build and integrate AI/LLM-powered features — chatbots, RAG-based systems, AI agent orchestration, and prompt/context engineering — into product workflows
- Improve application performance and reducing API latency
- Integrate third-party services and APIs into core product flows
- Own deployment and infrastructure practices —
- CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), cloud services, and monitoring/observability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Write clean, tested, maintainable code; participate in code reviews and uphold engineering best practices
- Debug and resolve production issues, using data/metrics to diagnose and fix performance bottlenecks

What We Are Looking For





Mandatory Requirement

- 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack / MERN Stack Developer with understanding of developing internal tools
- Solid hands-on experience with the MERN stack —
- MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js — and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Proven experience designing and building REST APIs and working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Next.js or equivalent frameworks for server-side rendering / performance optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and Git-based version control workflows
- Demonstrated ability to take a feature from design through to production deployment independently

Additional Requirement

- Prior experience in D2C, consumer brands, e-commerce or startup
- Experience with version control - Git, GitHub, or equivalent
- Experience building or integrating AI/LLM features —
- OpenAI APIs, RAG pipelines, LLM agent orchestration, or prompt/context engineering
- Working knowledge of Python and/or PHP for backend or scripting/automation needs
- Experience with Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Exposure to micro-frontend architecture or microservices design
- Experience with data pipelines/analytics infrastructure and third-party integrations (Shopify, payment gateways, marketing APIs, etc).
