About The Role

Century Plyboards (India) Limited is looking for an experienced Deputy Manager – Commercial to manage and oversee commercial operations at its Faridabad location. The role will involve commercial documentation, SAP-based transactions, coordination with internal stakeholders, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of commercial activities in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day commercial operations and ensure smooth execution of commercial processes.
- Handle commercial documentation, including invoices, purchase-related documents, sales documentation, and other business records.
- Work extensively on SAP for commercial transactions, data entry, reporting, and process monitoring.
- Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Finance, Stores, Logistics, Production, and other cross-functional teams.
- Ensure accuracy of commercial entries, documentation, reconciliations, and supporting records.
- Monitor and resolve commercial issues related to orders, billing, dispatches, receipts, and documentation.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports and commercial dashboards as required by management.
- Support month-end and periodic closing activities by ensuring timely and accurate commercial data.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, internal controls, and statutory/compliance requirements relevant to commercial operations.

Support month-end and periodic closing activities by ensuring timely and accurate commercial data. Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, internal controls, and statutory/compliance requirements relevant to commercial operations. Identify process gaps and contribute to improving efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time.

Experience Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.

Relevant

Experience in Commercial Operations, preferably in a Manufacturing Industry. Hands-on Experience with SAP is essential. Strong understanding of commercial processes, documentation, billing, reconciliations, and MIS reporting. Positive working knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications. Strong analytical, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple activities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
