Role Description The Caretaker role is a full-time, in office position based in Panvel. Caretakers will assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, mobility support, meal preparation, and feeding, while maintaining a clean and safe environment. They will monitor basic health indicators, follow care plans provided by nurses or doctors, and promptly report any changes in the patient’s condition.

The role also includes providing companionship, emotional support, and respectful communication with patients and family members. Caretakers are expected to follow hygiene protocols, adhere to safety guidelines,



and collaborate closely with the wider care team.

Qualifications

- Ability to provide personal care and support with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, toileting, mobility, feeding).
- Basic knowledge of patient care routines, including vital sign observation, medication reminders, and infection control practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals in a respectful manner.
- Emotional resilience, patience, and a compassionate approach to working with elderly, post-operative, and long-term care patients.
- Ability to follow instructions, adhere to care plans, and maintain accurate basic records or reports as needed.
- Prior experience as a caretaker, nursing assistant, or home health aide is preferred; relevant training or certification in caregiving or nursing assistance is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends or holidays if required, and to be on-site in Panvel.
- Minimum educational background at secondary school level; additional healthcare-related courses are beneficial.
