Every project we build is custom, so our Business Analysts work directly with real clients to turn complex, sometimes messy requirements into working solutions, not just configure an off-the-shelf product.

We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst with 3-5 years working on complex, custom software projects. You'll own requirements and solution design across several projects at once,working with internal teams, lead directly with client stakeholders, and turn tricky business problems into explicit specs.

- Lead requirements gathering with client stakeholders across multiple projects at the same time.
- Break down complex, often unclear business problems into clear, actionable workable solutions.
- Evaluate proposed solutions against business requirements, user needs, technical constraints, and expected business outcomes.
- Own BA deliverables end to end: process maps, user stories, functional specs, protypess, and acceptance criteria.
- Design and validate UI/UX flows and prototypes, working closely with designers developers and clients.
- Use AI and emerging tools thoughtfully to improve productivity and quality around solution design, documentation of functionality, user stories, prototype design and development, while applying professional judgement.
- Collabrate with clients, developers, and senior management, managing expectations and resolving conflicting requirements.
- Weigh up trade-offs across scope, technical feasibility, timeline, and budget to support solution design decisions.
- Spot and flag scope risks, requirement gaps, or ambiguity early, before they cause delivery problems.
- Review the work of Junior Business Analysts and help raise the bar on analysis and documentation across the team.
- Help improve BA processes, and best practices for the wider team.

REQUIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

- 3-5 years' experience as a Business Analyst on complex,



custom-built software (non-SaaS, bespoke or consulting environments preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distinguish the underlying business problem from the client's proposed solution
- Experience owning requirements and solution design across several projects at once, each with a different scope, tech stack, and set of stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools for BA work, like drafting documentation, Design solution plan, or analysing requirements and processes, plus a genuine interest in doing more of this.
- Basic technical understanding or hands-on experience working with development and QA teams (data models, APIs, integrations, technical trade-offs).
- Excellent written and spoken English, confident engaging senior client stakeholders and internal teams.
- Solid skills in UI/UX flows or prototyping tools, and turning designs into specs developers can build from.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, comfortable juggling competing priorities and ambiguity in a remote-first team.
- Ability to work independently, proactively identifying what needs to happen next rather than relying on detailed direction.
- Take ownership of your work and follow through on commitments
- Working on a defined timeline on projects and making sure the deliverables are done as per the expectations
- Build trusted relationships with clients and consistently look for ways to improve their experience, solve problems proactively, and exceed expectations.
- Constantly look for better ways of working, improving processes, documentation, collaboration, and the quality of BA outcomes.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of accountability for the quality, accuracy, and outcomes of your work, taking ownership

NICE TO HAVE

- Certifications like CBAP, PMI-PBA are a plus, not a must.
- Familiarity with API/integration design.
- Experience reviewing the work of junior BAs.
- Exposure to different industries through custom software or consulting work.
