Role Description The Assistant Video Editor role at Bose Works is a full time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The role involves supporting the video editing process for short films, social media content, and other digital media projects by assembling footage, organizing assets, and preparing rough cuts.

The Assistant Video

Editor will help with basic color adjustments, audio synchronization, and visual refinements under the guidance of senior editors. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with the production team,



maintaining project files and backups, and ensuring content is optimized for various platforms. The role also includes assisting with simple motion graphics, titles, and visual elements to enhance storytelling.

Qualifications

- Ability to work across core video production tasks, including Video Production and basic Video Editing.
- Proficiency in post-production skills such as Video Editing and Video Color Grading.
- Familiarity with visual enhancement tools and techniques, including Motion Graphics and Graphics.
- Experience with common editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and basic motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and willingness to collaborate in a creative, fast-paced environment.
- Relevant coursework, certification, or a diploma in film, media, animation, or a related field is preferred.
- Portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing and visual storytelling capabilities.
