Role Summary

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to drive our oncogenomics business across the Pune & ROM market. This is an individual contributor role focused on direct engagement with oncologists, hemato-oncologists, and pathologists — driving adoption of genomic/molecular oncology tests (e.g., companion diagnostics, biomarker testing, liquid biopsy, tumor profiling) and growing territory revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Drive sales of oncogenomics/molecular oncology tests within the assigned territoryBuild and maintain relationships with oncologists, hemato-oncologists, pathologists, and cancer centersAchieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and territory growth objectivesConduct scientific detailing on genomic testing (biomarkers, mutation panels, liquid biopsy) with treating physiciansCoordinate with sample logistics, CX,



and lab operations teams for smooth order-to-report turnaroundTrack competitor activity, emerging biomarker trends, and physician feedback; report regularly to managementRepresent the company at oncology conferences, tumor boards, and CME events

Requirements

[3–6]+ years of specialty sales experience in oncogenomics, molecular diagnostics, or precision oncology testingExisting relationships with oncologists/onco-physicians / onco surgeons / hemato-oncologists in Pune & ROM strongly preferredWorking knowledge of genomic/biomarker testing concepts (NGS, PCR-based panels, liquid biopsy) — ability to hold scientific conversations with cliniciansProven track record of achieving sales targets in a specialty/clinical selling environmentWillingness to travel within the territory for clinicans visitsBachelor's degree required; science/pharmacy/life sciences background preferred (biotechnology/genetics background a plus)
