About AVW StorytellersnAVW Storytellers is a strategic marketing and communications agency that helps brands build stronger narratives through strategy, storytelling, creative communication and audio-visual content.

nWe are looking for an Account Manager who can sit at the intersection of client relationships, strategy, creative execution and team management.
nThis is not a role where you simply take briefs and pass them on.
nYou will be responsible for understanding what the client needs, getting the best work out of the team, maintaining relationships and ensuring that every assignment moves from brief → thinking → execution → delivery.
THE ROLEnAs an Account Manager, you will be the bridge between the client and the AVW team.
nYour primary responsibility will be to:

- Own and nurture client relationships.

- Understand client businesses, objectives and communication requirements.

- Translate client requirements into clear internal briefs.
n
- Oversee the people working on different accounts and projects.
n
- Ensure the creative, strategic and production teams deliver the required work.
n
- Push the team to improve the quality of thinking and execution.
n
- Coordinate across strategy, creative, design, content, social media and production.
n
- Track timelines, deliverables and approvals.
n
- Identify potential issues before they become client problems.
n
- Ensure clients feel heard, understood and well-managed.
n

- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.

- Build strong, professional and long-term relationships with corporate clients.

- Understand client businesses, industries, audiences and communication challenges.

- Participate in client meetings and presentations.

- Manage expectations, timelines and communication effectively.

- Handle feedback professionally and ensure it reaches the right team members.

- Maintain regular communication with clients and keep them updated on progress.

Internal Team

- Oversee the teams working on assigned accounts.

- Allocate briefs and coordinate with relevant team members.
n
- Ensure that briefs are clearly understood before execution begins.
n
- Follow up with creative, strategy, design, content and production teams.
n
- Ensure work is delivered within agreed timelines.
n
- Review work internally before it reaches the client.
n
- Push teams when work needs greater strategic depth or creative quality.
n
- Ensure accountability across team members.
n

- Strategy & Creative CoordinationnThe Account Manager should be able to understand both strategic thinking and creative execution.
nYou will:

- Help convert business requirements into communication opportunities.

- Work closely with strategists and creative teams.
n
- Ensure that creative outputs remain aligned with the strategic objective.

- Understand campaigns, brand narratives, content, films, social media and communication assets.

- Present and explain the thinking behind the work to clients.

nYou do not necessarily have to be the strongest copywriter or designer, but you must have enough understanding of strategy and creative to recognise good work and drive the team towards it.
- Project & Delivery Managementnn
- Maintain project timelines and trackers.

- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
n
- Follow up on dependencies and approvals.
n
- Ensure deliverables are completed as committed.
n
- Flag delays, bottlenecks and risks early.
n
- Coordinate with production partners/vendors wherever required.
n
- Ensure final deliverables meet AVW's quality standards.

5. Social Media — Added AdvantagenExperience in social media will be a strong advantage.
nThe ideal candidate should understand:
