Key Responsibilities
Research and Reporting: Investigating stories, conducting interviews with experts or witnesses, and attending news events.
Writing and Editing: Drafting transparent, concise news stories and editing them for accuracy, grammar, and style (often AP style).
Breaking News Management: Adapting to quick-changing news cycles and writing quickly under tight deadlines.
Fact-Checking: Ensuring all information is verified and credible.
Multimedia Integration: Using content management systems (CMS) to publish articles, as well as shooting, editing, or producing videos and photos to accompany stories.
Pitching: Proposing original story ideas to editors.
Social Media Management: Promoting content on social media platforms and engaging with the audience.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
