Our aesthetic combines vibrant prints, relaxed silhouettes, handcrafted details and modern bohemian luxury. We are looking for a talented Apparel Designer who can translate this distinctive vision into original, commercially relevant collections.

Role Overview

The Fashion Designer – Apparel will be responsible for designing and developing apparel collections for Mexicola, from initial research and concept development through sampling and production handover.

The candidate should have a solid understanding of women’s resortwear, prints, fabrics, garment construction, fit and surface techniques. The role requires creativity, technical knowledge,



commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple styles and development timelines simultaneously.

Key ResponsibilitiesTrend Research and Concept Development
- Research Indian and international fashion, resortwear, colour, fabric, print and silhouette trends.
- Study competitor brands, customer preferences and emerging market opportunities.
- Develop seasonal concepts, mood boards, colour palettes, print directions and collection stories.
- Translate the Chief of Design’s creative vision into cohesive and commercially viable collections.
- Maintain Mexicola’s distinctive design identity across every collection.

Apparel Design
- Design original apparel across categories such as dresses, kaftans, co-ord sets, tops, shirts, skirts, trousers, jumpsuits and occasion-resortwear.
- Create detailed hand sketches and digital fashion illustrations.
- Develop silhouettes, colourways, prints, embroideries, embellishments and placement artworks.
