Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager – Retail Data & Digital Transformation to lead end-to-end delivery of data and digital transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of technology delivery management, retail domain expertise, stakeholder management, and familiarity with contemporary data platforms such as Databricks.
This role will focus on delivery ownership, team leadership, stakeholder alignment, risk and dependency management, and continuous improvement. The candidate is expected to understand data and technology concepts but does not need deep hands-on Databricks development experience.
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end delivery of data, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives, ensuring quality, timelines, scope, and business outcomes.
Lead offshore and distributed technology teams, establishing clear ownership, accountability,



and delivery governance.
Partner closely with GFH business, product, data, architecture, and technology stakeholders to understand priorities and translate them into actionable delivery plans.
Apply solid knowledge of retail and grocery business processes, including store operations, sales, pricing, promotions, inventory, fulfillment, supply chain, and omnichannel operations.
Ensure teams have transparent understanding of business requirements, context, priorities, and expected outcomes.
Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, resources, and delivery milestones, proactively driving resolution.
Facilitate business and technology workshops, requirement discussions, solution reviews, and decision-making forums.
Review solution approaches at a high level and ensure appropriate engineering, testing, documentation, deployment, and support practices are followed.
