Job Title: Senior BIM / 3D Modelling EngineerExperience: 5–6 YearsEmployment Type: Full-timePosition: 02Location: Kovilambakkam, Chennai 600129Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced BIM / 3D Modelling professional with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in Scan-to-BIM, Point Cloud Processing, and 3D Modelling. The candidate will be responsible for converting point cloud data and laser scan data into accurate BIM models for Architecture, Structure, and MEP disciplines.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle Scan-to-BIM projects from point cloud data to detailed BIM models.Process and interpret Point Cloud data generated from 3D laser scanning.Develop accurate As-Built BIM models based on point cloud and scan data.Create and manage 3D models for Architecture, Structure, and MEP disciplines.Develop detailed BIM models using LOD requirements and project standards.Perform point cloud registration, alignment, and quality checks.Coordinate Architectural, Structural, and MEP models and identify clashes/interdisciplinary issues.Work with project teams to understand drawings, specifications, and modelling requirements.Review models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards.Prepare BIM deliverables, documentation, and model updates as per project requirements.Coordinate with clients and internal teams to resolve modelling and technical issues.Ensure timely completion of assigned BIM and 3D modelling projects.Qualification:B.E/B.Tech (Civil)



/ B.Arch / Diploma in Civil or Architecture with 5–6 years of relevant experience in Scan-to-BIM, Point Cloud Processing, and Revit-based BIM Modelling. Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk ReCap proficiency is required.Software SkillsAutodesk Revit – Architecture, Structure & MEPAutodesk Navisworks – Model Coordination & Clash DetectionAutodesk ReCap – Point Cloud ProcessingKnowledge of BIM workflows and Scan-to-BIM processes.Required Skills & Experience5–6 years of relevant experience in BIM / 3D Modelling / Scan-to-BIM.Strong practical knowledge of Point Cloud to BIM modelling.Valuable understanding of Architectural, Structural, and MEP modelling.Strong knowledge of Revit and BIM modelling standards.Experience in handling large-scale point cloud datasets.Good understanding of construction drawings and building components.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.Strong attention to detail and commitment to model accuracy.Good communication and coordination skills.Preferred Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate should be a technically strong and detail-oriented BIM professional capable of independently handling Scan-to-BIM projects, from point cloud processing through final BIM model delivery, while maintaining accuracy, quality, and project timelines.Interested candidates can share their updated CV at: ?
