Soni Resources is partnered with a global law firm on their search for a Temporary/Contract Immigration Attorney. This individual will be providing legal counsel and managing employment-based immigration matters with minimal supervision. This role requires solid experience handling H-1B and L-1 visa matters, applying immigration law and legal precedents to complex client situations while developing practical and creative solutions.

The attorney also serves as a trusted advisor to clients and junior colleagues, effectively communicating complex legal issues to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities
Manage employment-based immigration matters, with a focus on H-1B and L-1 cases, while operating with minimal supervision.
Apply immigration law, regulations, and legal precedents to client matters and develop effective legal strategies and solutions.
Advise clients on complex immigration issues and clearly communicate recommendations to a variety of audiences.




Serve as a senior member of the client team, delivering high-quality legal support and guidance.
Mentor and support junior colleagues by sharing knowledge, expertise, and best practices while contributing to the overall business objectives of the practice.

Qualifications:
U.S. Juris Doctor (JD) required.
Active membership in a State Bar.
3 to 4 years of immigration law experience, including required H-1B and L-1 visa experience.
Solid understanding of U.S. immigration law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop creative solutions.

Compensation: $44-$52/hr. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications. #SONINY
