Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the national sales strategy in line with organizational objectives.
Drive achievement of primary and secondary sales targets across India.
Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans and ensure effective execution. Identify new business opportunities, markets, products, and customer segments.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and product performance.
Lead and manage the national sales team comprising ZBMs, ZSMs, RSMs, and other field sales personnel. Set transparent performance objectives and KPIs for the sales team.
Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective actions wherever required.
Coach, mentor, and develop the sales leadership team to improve productivity and effectiveness.
Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of key sales talent.
Present regular sales and business performance reviews to senior management.




Analyse regional and product-wise performance and identify gaps and opportunities. Track sales KPIs including target achievement, growth, productivity, coverage, new customer acquisition, and collection performance.
Take timely corrective actions to address underperforming regions or products.

Requirement:
12–18 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
Robust experience in managing large, geographically dispersed sales teams.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical markets, products, channels, and customer dynamics.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
Ability to work in a quick-paced and target-oriented environment.
Willingness to travel extensively across India.
