About The Role We are seeking an experienced Lead / Subject Matter Expert (SME) Network Engineer for a remote, long-term contract position. This role is integral to our complex delivery team, where you will be responsible for designing, leading, and executing advanced network solutions that align with client requirements and industry standards.

As a senior technical leader, you will guide project teams, collaborate with global stakeholders, and ensure the successful deployment of network infrastructure solutions. Your expertise will be critical in shaping architectural standards, producing detailed low-level designs, and transitioning solutions into operational environments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in complex network environments, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and have a proactive approach to project management and problem-solving.





Qualifications The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of demonstrable experience in leading, designing, and implementing complex network solutions within regulated industries or large enterprise environments. You should have a proven track record of functioning as a Lead Engineer on large-scale transformational programs, with the ability to provide technical guidance and project updates to senior leadership.

Strong communication skills are essential to clearly articulate complex solutions to diverse stakeholders.

Certifications such as Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Enterprise, FortiGate Professional, or F5 LTM/GTM at Certified Technical Specialist level are highly advantageous. In-depth technical knowledge of multiple networking technologies and a proactive approach to workload management are also required.

Responsibilities

- Act as a Lead or SME in multiple network technologies, providing expert guidance and technical oversight on complex projects.
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable network infrastructure solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
- Lead end-to-end project execution, including planning, scoping, and coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Produce detailed low-level designs and ensure all designs adhere to architectural standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with global support teams to facilitate seamless transition of solutions into operational support environments.
- Ensure compliance with governance,



change management, and risk management protocols across all network activities.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by providing timely updates, escalating issues when necessary, and producing accurate project estimates.
- Identify and resolve technical issues proactively, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of architectural standards and best practices for network solutions.
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance network design and implementation strategies.
