Key Responsibilities
Event Planning &
- Execution
- Plan, manage, and execute a diverse portfolio of events including Townhalls, SAC (Salesforce Appreciation Celebrations), P&J;, Customer Events, Auditorium Events, REWS Events, Trailblazing Events, and all-hands meetings
- Own end-to-end event delivery — from concept development, budgeting, and vendor briefs to on-ground execution and post-event wrap-up
- Develop detailed event runbooks, production schedules, risk registers, and contingency plans
- Manage event theming, décor, branding, and signage aligned to Salesforce brand standards
Festival &
- REWS Events
- Lead planning and execution of all festival celebrations — Diwali, Onam, Christmas, New Year, Independence Day, Women’s Day, and other cultural events
- Drive REWS-specific programming — onsite activations, sustainability campaigns, employee experience events, and other initiatives
- Collaborate with People team, ERGs, and business units for co-hosted events and employee engagement programs
- Build and maintain an annual events calendar covering all recurring REWS and cultural events
Technical Production
- Oversee all technical aspects of events — AV setup, sound systems, stage design, lighting, LED walls, live streaming, and hybrid event technology
- Conduct pre-event technical walkthroughs, rehearsals, and sound checks
- Troubleshoot technical issues on-ground during live events with zero escalation
- Stay updated on emerging event technology and recommend upgrades where relevant
Vendor Management
- Maintain and continuously build a strong vendor database across categories: AV & production, décor & fabrication, catering, entertainment, gifting, print & branding, and experiential agencies
- Float RFQs, evaluate proposals,
negotiate contracts, and manage POs end-to-end
- Ensure timely vendor payments, SLA adherence, and post-event feedback
- Develop backup vendor options for all critical categories
Stakeholder Management &
- Reporting
- Manage stakeholder communications, event briefings, and pre/post-event updates for senior leaders and business units
- Act as backup and delegate for the M&E; Manager during absence
- Track event budgets, raise POs, and submit expense reports on time
- Contribute to newsletters, internal comms, event recaps, and documentation
- Maintain post-event reports with attendance, feedback scores, and improvement recommendations
Required Skills &
- Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in an event management company, production agency, or experiential marketing firm — candidates with only in-house coordinator experience may not be preferred
- Demonstrated ability to independently plan and execute large-scale corporate events (100–1000+ pax) from scratch
- Strong technical knowledge of AV, production, lighting, stage design, and hybrid event setups — must be able to brief vendors and troubleshoot independently
- An established and active vendor database across AV, décor, catering, entertainment, print, and gifting categories
- Prior experience managing festival celebrations, employee engagement events, and REWS-type programming
- Excellent verbal and written communication with robust stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in event management tools, Google Workspace, and project tracking platforms (Asana, Monday.com, or similar)
- Creative eye for event design, guest experience, and experiential programming
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a quick-paced, multi-event environment with tight turnarounds
