/ Roles & Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for establishing, planning and running the engineering Cockpit ( IP & Console) system meetings to ensure appropriate cross functional representation and input from all relevant areas. Ensure progression of design quality maturity from initial concept through to final engineering sign-Off (FESO). Establishing and maintain the teamwork plan aligned to vehicle program. Define appropriate engineering targets to meet function, quality and attribute requirements for the Vehicle Program. Develop and maintain the design validation plan (DVP)



including both in-house and supplier testing plan and ensure development signoff tests are completed on schedule.

Develop System Design

Specifications incorporating engineering standards, test procedures and material specifications.

Lead Failure Mode

Avoidance activities including DFMEA, quality history reviews and DFA/DFM reviews. Ensuring all relevant documentation meets ISO quality standards. Lead the resolution of design, attribute, or packaging incompatibilities through the appropriate cross-functional meetings. Management of Supplier (s) to ensure system/component delivery to vehicle programme timing and attribute targets.

Support

Purchasing team in Sourcing and RFQ activities including the creation of ESOWs, PDSs and ESIs. Support vehicles launch and pre-production builds (both virtual and physical). Ensuring the effective application of APQP to manage system/component delivery. Ensure delivery of PSW, through planning from project start to sign off. Follow and deliver company goals and strategies. Ensure system, sub-system and components meets DVA, Optical and Perceived Quality targets.
