About the Role

YORI is looking for an energetic and responsible Chef/Cook who can handle the day-to-day kitchen operations of our food cart and help us maintain consistent taste, presentation, hygiene, and speed of service.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a rapid-paced QSR/street-food environment and can prepare multiple items efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook YORI menu items according to standardized recipes.
- Handle items such as burgers, momos, fries, sandwiches/snacks and other fast-food items.
- Prepare sauces, fillings, vegetables and other ingredients before service.
- Maintain consistent taste, portion size and presentation for every order.
- Manage food preparation during peak hours without compromising quality.
- Maintain proper kitchen and food hygiene standards.
- Keep the cooking area, equipment, utensils and storage areas clean.
- Properly store frozen, refrigerated and dry ingredients.
- Monitor daily stock and inform management about ingredients that need to be purchased.
- Minimize food wastage and control portion sizes.
- Check the quality and freshness of raw materials before use.
- Follow YORI recipes and SOPs rather than changing recipes without approval.
- Assist in testing and developing new menu items whenever required.




- Help with opening preparation and closing/cleaning procedures of the cart.
- Coordinate with other staff members for smooth and quick order preparation.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of cooking experience, preferably in a café, QSR, cloud kitchen, restaurant or street-food outlet.
- Experience preparing burgers, momos, fries and similar fast-food items preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
- Ability to work quickly during busy hours.
- Good understanding of portion control and food wastage.
- Must be punctual, disciplined and responsible.
- Should be willing to learn and strictly follow YORI recipes and preparation standards.
- Ability to independently manage basic kitchen operations will be preferred.

Salary & Benefits Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.

Preferred Candidate We especially prefer someone who has previously worked with a burger, momo, café, QSR or fast-food brand and understands the importance of speed, consistency, hygiene and food costing.
