About YAGY

YAGY Tech is a food-tech platform building three products Mealawe (home-style meal subscriptions), DeskDyne (corporate cafeteria management, B2B SaaS), and Navmool (organic food sourcing and supply chain). We are scaling from 7–10 cities to 21 and building enterprise-grade infrastructure to support that growth.

We run a lean engineering team where every engineer owns features end-to-end — from architecture through deployment — rather than working in a narrow, specialized lane.

The Role

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our core engineering team. This is a hands-on role across the MERN stack, cloud infrastructure, and mobile/web native feature development, with a strong expectation of using AI coding tools as part of daily workflow. New development at YAGY is on MERN; the current production platform runs on Angular/Ionic (MEAN), so exposure to that stack is a plus.

You will work across all three product lines, contributing to features, performance optimization, and platform reliability as we scale.

What You Will Do

Full Stack Development

- Build and maintain features across the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js)
- Apply OOP and DSA principles to write clean, efficient, maintainable code
- Own features end-to-end, from design through deployment

AI-Assisted Engineering

- Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex) as a core part of the development workflow
- Apply AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery without compromising code quality





Performance & Non-Functional Requirements

- Optimize application performance across web, Android, and iOS
- Profile and tune MongoDB and DynamoDB queries and schema design
- Own non-functional requirements — reliability, scalability, load handling

Mobile & Web

- Build Android, iOS, and Web experiences with a focus on native feature support, not just wrapper-level functionality
- Ensure consistent, high-quality experience across platforms

Architecture

- Contribute to microservices architecture and monolith-to-microservices migration efforts as the platform scales

Cloud & Infrastructure

- Develop and deploy on AWS (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch)
- Work with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent)

Required Skills (Must Haves)

- 4–6 years of full stack development experience, MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js)
- Strong OOP and DSA fundamentals
- Cloud-native development experience, AWS preferred
- Working proficiency with AI coding tools — Claude Code, Codex
- NoSQL database experience — MongoDB, DynamoDB (schema design, querying, indexing)
- Experience with performance optimization and non-functional requirements
- Android, iOS, and Web development experience with focus on native feature support
- CI/CD pipeline experience — GitHub Actions or equivalent




- Comfortable owning a feature end-to-end in a small, lean team
- Unit and integration testing discipline
- Strong communication skills; comfortable in a fast-moving, founder-led startup workplace with ambiguity

Good to Have (Should Haves)

- MEAN stack exposure (Angular, Ionic/Capacitor) — YAGY's current production stack
- Containerized development — Docker, Kubernetes
- Microservices architecture and monolith-to-microservices migration experience
- MongoDB/DynamoDB profiling, performance tuning, and query optimization exposure

- Communicates clearly and proactively, especially around blockers and trade-offs
