Frontend Developer – React.js

Role Overview

We are looking for a Frontend Developer with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in frontend development. The candidate should have experience working on live React.js applications and be able to clearly explain features developed, API integrations, bugs resolved, and code changes personally handled.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain frontend applications using React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Build reusable and maintainable UI components using Material UI or similar component libraries.
- Integrate REST APIs and handle JSON data, forms, validations, asynchronous requests, and errors.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing applications using Browser Developer Tools, Console, Network inspection, and code tracing.
- Work with existing codebases and make limited-scope, well-tested changes without unnecessary refactoring.
- Implement UI behaviour based on authentication, user roles, and permissions.
- Follow proper Git branching, commit, merge, and code-review practices.
- Perform regression testing and browser-based testing of implemented changes.
- Coordinate effectively with backend developers and business users to understand requirements and resolve issues.




- Maintain clear technical documentation and provide timely follow-ups on development tasks.

Required Skills & Abilities
- Strong practical knowledge of React.js and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Hands-on experience with Material UI or similar component libraries.
- Experience developing reusable React components.
- Robust understanding of REST API integration and JSON handling.
- Experience with form validation and asynchronous request/error handling.
- Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of Git and version control practices.
- Understanding of authentication and role/permission-based UI behaviour.
- Ability to understand and work within an existing codebase.
- Good communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
