Role Description The Finance Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the financial planning, reporting, and control functions of Canviza Services Private Limited. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing budgets and forecasts, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance.

The Finance

Manager will implement and maintain internal controls, support audits, ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and coordinate with external advisors when needed. The role also involves providing financial insights to leadership, supporting strategic decision-making, optimizing costs, and improving financial processes and systems.



Collaboration with cross-functional teams on financial data, project costing, and performance metrics is a key part of this position.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, with the ability to interpret and present financial data clearly.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, accounting, and general ledger management, including familiarity with GAAP or relevant local standards.
- Experience with financial controls, audit support, and regulatory compliance in a corporate or professional services setting.
- Advanced skills in Excel and financial analysis tools; experience with accounting and ERP software is highly beneficial.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team setting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and take ownership of outcomes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, CA, CMA, or CFA are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a finance management or senior accounting role, preferably within a services or technology-oriented organization.
