nROLE SUMMARY

nWe are looking for an experienced Network & Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade network and security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across firewall platforms (Check Point, Palo Alto, FortiGate), routing & switching technologies, cloud networking (Azure), and modern WAN solutions including SD-WAN. This role demands a proactive professional capable of owning incident resolution, driving RCAs, and ensuring the highest levels of network availability and security posture.

nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES

nFirewall & Security Management

n

n
- Design, configure, and manage enterprise firewalls on Check Point, Palo Alto Networks, and FortiGate platforms.
n
- Define and enforce firewall policies, security zones, NAT rules, and access control lists (ACLs).
n
- Monitor firewall health, logs, and traffic patterns to proactively identify and mitigate threats.
n
- Conduct regular firewall rule reviews, audits, and clean-up activities.
n

nRouting & Switching

n

n
- Configure and manage Cisco Routing & Switching and Dell Switching infrastructure.
n
- Deploy and manage routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and static routing in enterprise and service provider environments.
n
- Administer Cisco Meraki SD-WAN and wireless solutions across multi-site environments.
n

nWAN, LAN & Connectivity

n

n
- Design, manage, and optimize LAN/WAN infrastructure across head office, branches, and data centers.
n
- Implement and manage VPN solutions including Site-to-Site IPSec VPN and Remote Access VPN.
n
- Configure and maintain SD-WAN overlays, policies,



and failover mechanisms.
n
- Manage Wi-Fi infrastructure, SSID design, RF planning, and wireless security policies.
n

nCloud Networking

n

n
- Architect and manage Azure Networking components including Virtual Networks (VNets), NSGs, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, and Peering.
n
- Integrate on-premises network infrastructure with Azure cloud environments in hybrid topologies.
n
- Implement and manage Azure network monitoring, diagnostics, and traffic analytics.
n

nIncident & Problem Management

n

n
- Lead Major Incident Management for network and security-related outages; drive bridge calls and coordinate resolution.
n
- Prepare detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports post-incident with actionable remediation steps.
n
- Own and resolve L3 network escalations within defined SLA timelines.
n
- Perform proactive network health checks and capacity reviews to prevent recurring incidents.
n

nDocumentation & Governance

n

n
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, topology diagrams, and runbooks.
n
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, change management processes, and IT governance frameworks.
n
- Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) for all network and security changes.
n

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.

- 8–10 years of hands-on experience in network engineering and security operations.

- CCNP / CCIE (Routing & Switching or Security)

- Palo Alto PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer)
n
- Check Point CCSE / CCSA
n
- Fortinet NSE 4 / NSE 7

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)

- Cisco Meraki CMNA

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex network issues.

- Excellent verbal and written communication for incident updates, RCA documentation, and stakeholder briefings.

- Ability to work under pressure in high-availability environments and manage multiple priorities.

- Experience working in ITIL-based environments with familiarity with Change, Incident, and Problem Management.

- Self-motivated team player with the ability to mentor junior network engineers.
