Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Data Analyst – SDM to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven problem solver with strong expertise in data analytics, SQL, reporting, visualization, and stakeholder management.

The role will involve working with large and complex datasets, developing meaningful dashboards and reports, translating data into actionable business insights, and effectively communicating findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. The SDM will play a key role in leading, guiding, and mentoring the analytics team, managing stakeholder/client interactions, and driving the continuous improvement of data analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Data Extraction & Preparation

n

- Write, execute, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL scripts.
n
- Extract, clean, transform, and validate data from databases, APIs, flat files, and other sources.
n
- Identify and resolve data quality issues to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
n
- Work with large and complex datasets to support business analysis and decision-making.
n

Reporting & Visualization

n

n
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar tools.
n
- Present complex data and analytical findings in a transparent, concise, and visually effective manner.
n
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
n
- Ensure dashboards and reports effectively address business and stakeholder requirements.
n

Business Acumen & Communication

- Translate complex analytical findings into clear and actionable business recommendations.
n
- Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to understand analytical requirements and define KPIs.
n




- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
n
- Manage client interactions and communicate complex data insights, trends, and nuances effectively.
n
- Act as a subject matter expert for data and analytics across relevant business areas.

Leadership & Mentorship

- Lead, guide, and mentor Data Analysts and Team Leads.
n
- Provide guidance on the design, development, and implementation of analytical solutions.
n
- Establish and promote best practices across data analytics, reporting, and visualization.
n
- Drive continuous improvement of analytics processes, methodologies, and tools.
n
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analytics and data science.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
n
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Data Analytics/Data Analysis, with significant experience in senior or leadership roles.
n
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
n
- Proven experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar data visualization tools.
n
- Strong experience working with large datasets and data warehousing concepts.
n
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
n
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
n
- Proven ability to lead, guide, and mentor data analytics teams.
n
- Strong client interaction and stakeholder management skills.
n

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience working with Google and PLEX environments.
n
- Experience with GCP/cloud platforms and big data technologies.
n
- Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.
