NAbout Typesider

nTypesider is a reward based Windows desktop application that turns everyday computer activity into tangible rewards.

NUsers earn Typoints basedon keyboard keystrokes and mouse clicks while using their computers normally. Typoints can be redeemed for coupons, discounts, exclusive brand offers, and gift cards.

NTypesider is designed to work seamlessly in the background and follows a privacy first approach. It counts activity volume but does not read, record, or store what users type or the content of their computer activity.

NWe're building a consumerproduct where performance, reliability, usability, and privacy are critical.

NAbout the Role

nWe're looking for a Frontend Developer specializing in React.Js, JavaScript, and Electron.Js to help us build, maintain, and expand Typesider.

NYou'll work closely with the founders, product, design, and backend teams to develop new features, improve existing experiences, solve technical issues, and ensure a smooth and reliable cross platform desktop experience.

NThis is a hands on role where you'll have direct ownership of frontend features in a live product.

- Build and maintain reusable React.Js components and frontend features

- Develop and improve theTypesider Electron.Js desktop application

- Work with Electron mainand renderer processes, IPC, windows, local storage, and desktop specific functionality
N
- Integrate frontend features with REST APIs and backend services
N
- Debug and resolve React, JavaScript, Electron, and cross platform desktop issues
N




- Improve application performance, responsiveness, and stability
N
- Work closely with the design team to turn UI/UX designs into polished interfaces
N
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate current features and APIs
N
- Test features, fix issues, and contribute to smooth product releases
N
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code
N
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend best practices

nWhat We're LookingFor

- 1–3 years of experience in frontend development
N
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript / ES6+, HTML5, and CSS
N
- Hands on experience with React.Js
N
- Practical experience with Electron.Js
N
- Experience building scalable and reusable frontend components
N
- Good understanding of REST APIs and frontend/backend integration
N
- Strong understanding ofGit and version control
N
- Good debugging and problem solving skills
N
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of features
N
- Good understanding of responsive UI development and user experience

- Experience with React Native

- Experience with TypeScript

- Experience with Node.Js

- Familiarity with Vite, Electron Forge, Webpack, or similar tools

- Understanding of Electron IPC and main/renderer architecture

NInterview Process

nThe interview process will focus on your React.Js, JavaScript, and Electron.Js fundamentals, frontend development experience, debugging approach, problem solving, and ability to build reliable cross platform desktop experiences.

NWe'll also discuss projects you've worked on, your technical approach, and how you approach building features for a real consumer product.
