Company Description Cellumantra Biorefinery Pvt. Ltd. is a DPIIT-recognized green biotechnology startup developing an enzymatic biorefinery platform to convert non-wood agricultural waste into industrial enzymes and advanced biomaterials. The company focuses initially on revenue-driven enzyme production for sectors such as textiles and wastewater treatment, followed by high-value cellulose nanofibers (CNF) for sustainable materials.

Its technology is optimized for Indian biomass, enabling cost-efficient, scalable, and circular manufacturing. By valorizing agricultural residues, Cellumantra helps reduce farm-waste burning and lowers dependence on imported raw materials, supporting a more sustainable industrial ecosystem.

Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for Bank Guarantee Discounting and Monetizing Experts serving as Co-Founder at Cellumantra Biorefinery Pvt. Ltd. The role involves identifying, structuring, and executing bank guarantee discounting and monetization strategies to support the company’s growth and project financing needs.

The expert will evaluate financial instruments, coordinate with banks and financial institutions, and negotiate terms that align with the company’s risk and liquidity requirements. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market and regulatory research, assessing potential partners and investors, preparing financial proposals and documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant banking and financial regulations. As a Co-Founder, the individual will collaborate closely with the founding team on fundraising strategy, capital allocation, and long-term financial planning, while contributing to overall business strategy and stakeholder communication.

- Strong analytical skills with experience in evaluating financial instruments, risk assessment, and structuring bank guarantee discounting and monetization deals.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with banks, financial institutions, investors, and internal stakeholders, including clear written documentation and presentations.
- Proven sales skills to build and convert pipelines of financial partners and investors, negotiate terms, and close funding agreements.
- Marketing skills to position the company’s projects and financial offerings effectively to potential financiers and strategic partners.
- Research skills to stay current on banking regulations, trade finance practices, monetization structures, and relevant market trends.

- - Demonstrated experience in trade finance, structured finance, or corporate banking; prior work with bank guarantees, SBLCs, or similar instruments is highly beneficial.
- Understanding of startup financing and capital-raising processes; familiarity with sustainable or impact-focused ventures is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, make informed decisions, and collaborate as an equal partner in a founding team.
