Key Responsibilities

Design and develop original characters, settings, props and visual concepts for 2D animated TV shows.
n
Create character designs, expressions, poses, costumes and turnaround sheets.
n
Develop concept art and visual references to establish the look and feel of the show.
n
Work closely with the Director, Storyboard and Animation teams to bring creative ideas to life.
n
Maintain consistency in character design, proportions, colours and visual style.
n
Create concept sketches and explore multiple design options based on creative briefs.
n
Revise artwork based on feedback and production requirements.
n
Prepare production-ready character and concept assets within deadlines.
n

Requirements

n

n




2–5 years of experience in Character Design/Concept Art, preferably in 2D animation.
n
Solid drawing, anatomy, perspective and visual storytelling skills.
n
Good understanding of character expressions, poses, proportions and design principles.
n
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, or similar software.
n
Ability to work in an established art style as well as develop recent visual concepts.
n
Strong creativity, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
n
Portfolio/showreel is mandatory.
n

n

Experience in kids' animation, TV shows or episodic content will be preferred.
