The Content Designer applies subject matter knowledge and instructional design principles to

n

develop and revise digital instructional materials and supporting materials. The materials

n

created range from writing manuscripts to creating videos.

n

Essential Job Functions

n

• Understand and apply educational research, pedagogy, subject matter expertise, and

n

instructional design principles to create instructional videos.

n

n
Review product features against guidelines for consistency in curriculum design.
n
Make sure activity design has adequate white space and hierarchy to clearly display
n

n

content.

n

• Collaborate with Content Producer Lead to plan and execute on project workflow and

n

schedules.

n

n
Work with Content Producer Lead to create consistency in design of the product.
n
Produce high quality work to schedule.
n
Support the discovery and integration of AI tools and technologies to enhance our creative
n

n

processes, drive efficiency and optimize workflows

n

n
Ability to multi-task and meet the needs of new projects that arise.
n
Other duties as required.
n

Qualifications

n





• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communication, or Design and 2 years

n

of Curriculum Development, educational publishing, or instructional design experience; or an

n

acceptable combination of education and experience.

n

Technical Skills

n

• Classroom teaching experience either online or in-person and knowledge of online learning

n

activities and the education market preferred.

n

n
Excellent presentation skills, and desire to learn recent tools for producing content.
n
Skilled in PowerPoint and specifically animations and templates.
n
Ability to support learning through content design.
n

n
