Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, desktops, laptops, and standard business applications.

Configure and support printers, scanners, data cards, peripherals, and mobile devices.

Troubleshoot desktop/laptop hardware and software issues and escalate hardware-related problems to vendors.

Configure and troubleshoot internet, proxy, mail client, and connectivity-related issues.

Provide end-user support and assist users with application access as per standard SOPs.

Manage disk, folder sharing, permissions, and user privileges as per company policies.

Maintain accurate IT asset records, including recent machines, movements, and configuration changes.

Handle ticket logging, tracking, escalation, and closure using the ticketing tool.

Coordinate with vendors/OEMs for desktop hardware, software, printer, and other IT-related issues.





Provide support for video conferencing setup and troubleshooting.

Assist with LAN, print, and file services support.

Follow IT support processes, security policies, and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills

23 years of experience in Deskside/Desktop Support.

Good knowledge of Windows OS and desktop hardware troubleshooting.

Basic knowledge of networking, LAN, internet, and proxy settings.

Experience with ticketing tools and IT support processes.

Knowledge of IT asset management.

Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Positive communication and customer-handling skills.

Ability to work independently in a plant/manufacturing environment.

Flexibility to work in shift-based support, if required.
