Role Summary We are looking for a Senior VoIP Engineer to lead the development and optimization of our core communication infrastructure. This is a high-impact role requiring a deep technical foundation in session signaling and media handling. You will be responsible for the architecture and stability of our voice services, ensuring high-performance connectivity through expert-level management of SIP protocols and gateway technologies.
Core Technical Expertise The ideal candidate brings a decade of specialized experience in Voice, VoIP, and SIP protocols. You should possess an authoritative understanding of SIP Stack development and a proven track record of managing SIP Media Gateways and Session Border Controllers (SBCs). Your background must include at least 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in these areas, specifically focusing on session management, call routing, and protocol security.
Development & Workplace Beyond protocol expertise,
this role requires strong systems-level programming skills. You will spend a significant portion of your time working within a Linux setting, utilizing C/C++ to develop and maintain low-level voice applications. We require 2 to 5 years of skilled experience in C/C++ programming and Linux systems administration to ensure our software is both scalable and robust.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and refine SIP Stacks to support complex signaling requirements.
Deploy and tune Session Border Controllers and Media Gateways to ensure secure, high-quality voice transmission.
Develop high-efficiency code in C/C++ for real-time communication systems.
Diagnose and resolve intricate network issues related to SIP signaling and media flow.
Optimize system performance within Linux-based infrastructures to meet demanding service-level agreements.
