Role Summary

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to build and enhance highly scalable backend services for a modern wealth management and trading platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in NestJS, AWS, and distributed systems, along with exposure to trading, order management, or payment processing.You will work closely with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to design resilient, event-driven services powering mission-critical financial workflows. This role offers the prospect to influence architecture, drive technical excellence, and build low-latency, high-throughput systems

Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable backend services using NestJS, Node.js, and TypeScript.
Build and maintain REST APIs, WebSocket services, and event-driven microservices.
Design secure, reliable, and high-performance backend architectures on AWS.
Develop services supporting trading workflows, order lifecycle, and payment processing.
Optimize applications for scalability, performance, and reliability.




Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality production software.
Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews.

Minimum Qualifications
6+ years of backend development experience, including 3+ years of NestJS.
Solid experience with AWS services (ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway).
Experience designing microservices and event-driven architectures.
Robust knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, REST APIs, and WebSockets.
Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in trading platforms, brokerage, wealth management, or capital markets.
Understanding of order lifecycle, trade execution, market data, and payment/money movement workflows.
Experience with CQRS, distributed systems, and high-throughput, low-latency applications.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
Familiarity with fintech or other highly regulated domains
