Role

We are looking for hands-on Data Engineers with solid experience in modern data engineering practices, especially around ELT, dbt, Data Vault, and data migration.

n

The consultants will contribute to the design, development, migration, and validation of data pipelines in a structured delivery setting.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Develop and maintain data transformation pipelines using dbt.
n
Design and implement Data Vault data models.
n
Translate business and technical requirements into reliable ELT workflows.
n
Support and execute data migration projects, including migration from legacy platforms to modern data platforms.
n
Build and optimize scalable data transformation pipelines.
n
Implement data quality checks, tests, and reconciliation controls.
n
Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and technical leads.
n
Ensure clean, modular, and maintainable code.
n
Participate in code reviews, documentation, and delivery governance.
n
Investigate data issues and support root cause analysis.
n
Contribute to best practices around CI/CD, testing, and deployment.
n

Required Skills – Must Have

Strong experience as a Data Engineer.
n
Hands-on experience with dbt.
n
Strong hands-on experience with Data Vault modelling.
n
Proven experience in data migration projects.
n
Excellent SQL skills.
n
Good understanding of modern ELT principles.
n
Experience building scalable and maintainable data transformation pipelines.
n
Ability to write clean, documented, and tested code.
n
Experience with data quality, testing, and reconciliation.
n
Good communication skills in English.
n
Ability to work in a structured project workplace.

Nice to Have

Experience with Snowflake.
n
Experience in data platform modernization programs.
n
Experience migrating from legacy technologies to up-to-date cloud data platforms.

Experience in insurance, banking, or another regulated environment.
n
Experience with CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices.

Experience working in distributed or offshore delivery teams.
