Role Descriptions: Each Supplier Personnel engaged in Robotics Software Driver Use Case Validation must have no less than 3 years of experience in the following technical areas:
Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux (Ubuntu LTS, Yocto) and system use-case validation for robotics platforms.
Robust validation expertise in ROS 2 and robotics fundamentals, including:
Navigation
Motion planning
Control
SLAM for autonomous robotic systems
Experience with robotics simulation tools such as Gazebo and Ignition, including simulation-driven test plan development and validation.
Proficiency in heterogeneous compute acceleration for robotics workloads using:
CPU
GPU
NPU
ROCm/HIP
Accelerated perception and AI pipelines




Experience validating graphics stacks (Vulkan and OpenGL) and integrating visualization and rendering into robotics applications and simulators.
Experience with containerized robotics development and validation workflows using Docker and Podman for reproducible settings.
Familiarity with sensor and camera frameworks such as V4L2 and integration of robotics sensors, including:
Camera
IMU
LiDAR, where applicable
Exposure to virtualization in embedded or robotics environments, such as Xen Hypervisor, and multi-OS robotics stacks when required.
Understanding of requirements-to-test traceability, release qualification, and validation processes using structured requirement management workflows.
