We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with robust experience in API Testing and Python Automation. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions for web services, APIs, and enterprise applications. The candidate will work closely with developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality product delivery in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Python.
Create and execute API test cases for RESTful and SOAP web services.
Validate API responses, data integrity, business rules, and backend integrations.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Develop test scripts using automation tools and frameworks.
Execute automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
Create reusable test utilities and libraries for automation.
Identify, track, and report defects using defect management tools.
Analyze test results and provide detailed defect reports.
Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues quickly.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
Ensure testing best practices and quality standards are followed throughout the SDLC.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
Proven experience in API Automation using Python.
Solid debugging and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
