Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
6–10+ years of experience in database administration, with at least 3+ years focused on Apache Cassandra.
Deep knowledge of Cassandra architecture, internals (Gossip, Partitioning, Hinted Handoff, Repair), and operating in multi-DC, cloud, or hybrid settings.
Experience with DataStax Enterprise or similar commercial Cassandra distributions is a plus.
Proficiency in automation/scripting (Python, Shell, Ansible, etc.).
Knowledge of key tools (nodetool, cqlsh, DataStax OpsCenter, etc.).
Understanding of best practices for data modeling in NoSQL/Cassandra.
Experience with monitoring, capacity planning, scaling, and performance optimization in distributed systems.
Solid troubleshooting, incident management, and communication skills.
