Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain HT/LT electrical distribution systems.
Handle transformers, HT/LT panels, switchgear, MCC, PCC, DG sets and UPS systems.
Monitor electrical utility parameters and ensure uninterrupted power availability.
Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of electrical utilities.
Support installation, testing and commissioning of current electrical equipment.
Coordinate with DISCOM, electrical contractors, OEMs and service providers.
Monitor electrical consumption, load distribution and energy efficiency.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and coordinate timely rectification.
Maintain electrical utility records, checklists, logbooks and maintenance reports.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory requirements.
Support earthing, lightning protection and electrical safety inspections.
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Projects, EHS and other departments.
Support greenfield project electrical utility commissioning and plant start-up.
