Role & responsibilities

Sales Assistant is a customer service link between the sales team , customers & Supply Chain department. She / he is responsible for providing Sales & marketing and Admin support to the sales team.

Provide sales team with Admin support Sending quotes, PI, sending payment reminders and other back office assistance with an aim to improve the efficiency level of the sales team.
B2B portal India mart Lead generation management, sending introductory mail, initial prospecting and passing on leads to sales team. Follow up on the progress and generating reports
Assist in implementing marketing initiative including mail campaigns, exhibitions, web portal updating etc.
Supporting sales team in pre sales & post sales activities including coordination for collection/ modification in documentation.
Perform proactive customers service by ensuring follow-up calls to customers (late orders, usual orders, ), collecting forecast, checking situation when order are missing,
Ensure credit limit control and other financial checks related to customers situation.
Coordination with sales team, customer and SCM starting from PO review to protected execution.
Maintaining sales tracker ,



generating reports to analyse sales trends, customer buying trends with an eye on churn.
Maintaining customer master data, regular updating and utilizing same for sales promotion activities

Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers, and facilitate organic growth.
Work on customer satisfaction goals with the Sales & SCM team and communicate them on a consistent basis
Ensure the transmission of the information to Sales team , networks and to the customers
Digital Marketing : Promoting sales through Digital marketing Initially through India Mart , progressively participate in launching process & supporting Winoa dedicated e commerce platform

Preferred candidate profile

Education & Experience: Graduate preferably from Science/ Commerce background with 2 years experience in similar profile in B2B setting, preferably industrial consumable business
Knowledge of MS Office tools with experience in MS Excel, Power point & Outlook
Excellent communication skills - both written & verbal
Experience in customer relationship management
Knowledge of e commerce , India Mart & other B2B portals
