Job Responsibilities
Dispense medicines accurately according to prescriptions.
Review prescriptions and ensure appropriate medication and dosage.
Provide patients with transparent instructions regarding medication use and precautions.
Check and maintain proper stock levels of medicines and medical supplies.
Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper storage of medications.
Maintain accurate records of medicines, prescriptions, and inventory.
Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals regarding medication-related concerns.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and hospital policies.
Handle controlled and restricted medicines according to applicable regulations.
Counsel patients regarding medication dosage, side effects, and interactions.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the pharmacy.
Support audits, stock verification, and pharmacy quality-control procedures.
Candidate Requirements
B.Pharm / M.Pharm / Pharm.D qualification.
Valid qualified registration/license as applicable.
Valuable knowledge of medicines, dosage, drug interactions, and pharmacy practices.
Good communication and patient-care skills.
Hospital or clinical pharmacy experience will be an advantage.
GCC experience/licensing and Dataflow/Prometric eligibility will be an advantage.
