We are looking for a recently qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our US Audit / Audit & Assurance team. The role will provide an opportunity to work on US-based clients and gain hands-on exposure to financial statement audits, audit procedures, and US accounting and auditing standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in conducting US statutory and financial statement audits.
Perform audit procedures including substantive testing, analytical procedures, and controls testing.
Work on various audit areas such as cash, revenue, expenses, fixed assets, receivables, payables, and equity.
Prepare and maintain audit working papers and supporting documentation.
Assist in testing financial statement balances and disclosures.
Understand and apply relevant US GAAP and US auditing standards.
Support audit teams in identifying and documenting audit risks and findings.
Communicate with team members and seniors regarding audit requirements and status.
Ensure audit work is completed accurately and within defined timelines.
Participate in client meetings and discussions as required.
Develop an understanding of PCAOB / US GAAS requirements, depending on the engagement.
Candidate Profile
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Fresher / recently qualified.
Strong understanding of Accounting and Auditing concepts.
Good knowledge of financial statements and audit procedures.
Basic understanding of US GAAP and US auditing standards will be an advantage.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
Positive written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple assignments.
Willingness to work with US-based clients and US time zones, as required.
