5+ years of production application development experience, with solid ownership of enterprise-grade applications from design through deployment and ongoing operations.
Strong understanding of application architecture, domain modeling and business logic, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into maintainable software solutions.
Hands-on development experience with Python, Java, C# and/or Node.js, with strong object-oriented and software engineering fundamentals.
Experience with relational databases, SQL, data modeling, schemas, transactions and query optimization.
Robust experience designing and consuming APIs and RESTful services, including service integration and API lifecycle considerations.
Solid understanding of authentication and authorization, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and secure access patterns.

Strong engineering practices around unit/integration testing, CI/CD, code quality and observability.
Robust understanding of application security, scalability, reliability and performance.
Experience working in enterprise settings, with healthcare/pharma experience preferred.
Experience integrating GenAI, LLMs or agentic capabilities into enterprise applications preferred.
Ability to collaborate effectively with product, architecture, frontend, DevOps, data and AI/ML teams and contribute to technical design and engineering standards.
