An Operations Officer is responsible for managing day-to-day production activities, ensuring operational targets are achieved while maintaining quality and compliance standards. The role also serves as a designated backup for any one critical operational functions, such as Logistics, Production Planning, MRP (Maximum Retail Price / LMPC) ensuring seamless day to day business continuity especially during absences, peak workloads, or operational disruptions. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to support efficient execution and timely delivery of business objectives.
Responsibilities
Daily Activities related to Production per backlog or allocation
Activities related to Inspection such as MRP labeling, Quality inspection etc.
Warehouse management Oracle Pick, Pack, Ship, Stock Check as applicable
Machine / Line Maintenance with records as applicable (TPM)
Reports and Management of records
Additionally Support any one Critical Activity (Ex. Logistics, MBL, RMA, MRP, etc.)
Deliver Key KPI metrics such as OPD, XLT, DPPM
Perform mandatory checks and inspections such as MRP labeling
Work Environment
Employees work primarily in an office setting, within a well-ventilated area, and is exposed to moderate noise levels
Work Requirements
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently or with limited guidance
Ability to also work as a valuable team player coordinating and collaborating with peers and other departments as required.
Open minded must be able to support business unit / customer with extended hours only if and as necessary
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or better
At least 2 years of industry experience.
