Water Design Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Water Design Engineer to design, develop, and coordinate water supply, drainage, sewage, and water treatment systems for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design water supply, drainage, sewage, stormwater, and utility systems.- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts, schematics, and design calculations.- Develop hydraulic models and perform flow, pressure, pipe-sizing, and capacity calculations.- Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documentation.- Review project requirements, drawings, and technical standards.- Coordinate with architects, civil, MEP, structural, and project teams.- Select appropriate pumps, pipes, valves, tanks, treatment equipment, and related components.- Conduct site visits and support installation, testing, and commissioning activities.- Review contractor/shop drawings and provide technical comments.- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards,



and project specifications.- Identify design issues and provide practical engineering solutions.- Maintain project documentation and deliverables within scheduled timelines.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of water supply, wastewater, drainage, and hydraulic design.- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Civil 3D, Revit, EPANET, WaterGEMS, or similar software is an advantage.- Positive understanding of hydraulic calculations and engineering principles.- Knowledge of relevant Indian/international standards and codes.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.- Ability to prepare technical reports and engineering documentation.- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Qualification
B.E./B. Tech/Diploma in Civil, Environmental, Water Resources, or related Engineering discipline.
Preferred Experience
Experience in water infrastructure, WTP/STP/ETP, pipelines, pumping systems, drainage networks, or municipal water projects will be preferred.
