How Youll Succeed (responsibilities):

Dev Ops Strategy and Roadmap:

- Develop and communicate the strategic roadmap for Dev Ops practices, tooling, and enablement to support enterprise technology objectives.
- Align Dev Ops architecture direction with Enterprise Architecture standards, roadmaps, and enterprise-wide strategy to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Lead enterprise Dev Ops transformation by promoting cultural, process, and technology changes that improve software delivery effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and modernize the software delivery lifecycle through enterprise tooling and reusable design patterns.
- Architecture and Solution Design
- Make architectural decisions that streamline and optimize the enterprise software delivery toolchain and its integrations.
- Design and implement scalable CI/CD frameworks using Git Hub Actions and related technologies to improve deployment consistency, efficiency, and control.
- Define reusable architectural patterns, workflows, and automation standards that support broad adoption across technology teams.
- Guide the design of custom actions, scripts, and integration approaches to meet enterprise and team-specific delivery requirements.

Toolchain Governance and Administration:

- Oversee the strategic administration and integration approach for key platforms including Git Hub, JFrog Artifactory, and Sonar Qube.
- Ensure enterprise tooling is effectively embedded into the development lifecycle and aligned to engineering, operational, and governance requirements.
- Support the evolution of toolchain capabilities by evaluating platform needs, integration patterns, and improvement opportunities.
- Establish standards and recommendations for secure, scalable, and efficient platform usage across development and operations teams.
- Compliance, Risk, and Audit Enablement
- Develop and implement strategies to support compliance with internal and external audit requirements related to access management, controls, and sensitive information handling.
- Ensure architectural designs and toolchain practices align with applicable governance, security, and control expectations.
- Recommend and support solutions that improve traceability, policy adherence, and secure software delivery practices across the enterprise.
- Partner with stakeholders to strengthen controls within Dev Ops processes while maintaining effective developer experience.
- Mentorship, Advisory, and Cross-Functional Leadership
- Mentor and guide Dev Ops engineers and partner teams by sharing knowledge, promoting best practices, and supporting technical growth.
- Provide senior advisory support to application development, quality assurance, operations, infrastructure, and business teams on Dev Ops architecture and toolchain adoption.
- Provide hands-on support to resolve onboarding, configuration, and workflow challenges in support of successful tool adoption
- Collaborate with team leads across technology groups to deliver high-quality, scalable, and practical engineering solutions.




- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages experimentation, continuous learning, and shared ownership of outcomes.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

- Challenge existing delivery approaches and identify opportunities to improve deployment processes, engineering productivity, and operational reliability.
- Advance production monitoring, infrastructure automation, and platform engineering capabilities through strategic design and experimentation.
- Evaluate emerging practices and technologies to improve the enterprise Dev Ops ecosystem and future-state architecture.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the onboarding and lifecycle experience for internal technology teams.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

- This role collaborates closely with application development leaders and teams to define and enable enterprise Dev Ops architecture, standards, and delivery patterns.
- This role partners with quality assurance, operations, and infrastructure teams to design integrated, scalable, and supportable toolchain solutions.
- This role works with business units and technology leaders to understand needs, prioritize roadmap initiatives, and ensure solutions align with enterprise objectives.
- This role collaborates with the Enterprise Architecture team to maintain alignment between Dev Ops tooling strategy and broader technology roadmaps.
- This role interacts with engineering and platform teams to guide implementation of CI/CD frameworks, workflow standards, and automation capabilities.
- This role may work with security, risk, compliance, and audit stakeholders to support governance, access management, and control requirements across the software delivery lifecycle.

JOB DIMENSIONS:

- Enterprise scope role influencing Dev Ops practices, tooling strategy, and software delivery architecture across multiple technology groups.
- Supports broad internal stakeholder groups including application development, quality assurance, operations, infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and business units.
- Provides architectural leadership for enterprise tooling including Git Hub, Git Hub Actions, JFrog Artifactory, Sonar Qube, and related automation and platform capabilities.
- Contributes to enterprise transformation through strategy, roadmap development, standards definition, mentoring,



and cross-functional solution design.

Experience: 10+ years of experience

Who You Are (skills/qualifications):

Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Must Have Skills:

- 10+years of experience in Dev Ops platform architecture, software design, or related roles with strong focus on strategic planning and architectural design.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise Dev Ops practices, software delivery lifecycle design, and CI/CD architecture.
- Strong experience leading administration and strategic integration of Git Hub Enterprise, JFrog Artifactory, and Sonar Qube.
- Advanced experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions and reusable workflow patterns.
- Experience designing scalable solutions for containerized and cloud-native environments.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python and/or shell scripting such as Bash or Power Shell.
- Proven ability to make sound architectural decisions that improve scalability, reliability, governance, and developer experience.
- Strong mentoring and technical leadership capability, with experience guiding engineers and fostering collaborative team environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Proven solution development experience with strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to translate complex requirements into practical architectural solutions.
- Experience with Git Hub Advanced Security.
- Experience with Ansible, Docker, Helm, Open Shift, AKS, and broader Kubernetes ecosystem tooling.
- Experience with system administration and platform engineering practices in enterprise environments.
- Experience building strategic roadmaps and target-state architectures in partnership with enterprise architecture functions.
- Continuous improver: You proactively spot risks, inefficiencies, and quality gapsand you take ownership to fix them with proven ability to champion change.
- Strong collaborative skills with ability tocommunicate clearly with both technical and non-technical partners, and you can influence without authority to drive better outcomes.
- Experience in audit, compliance, access control, and sensitive information management within Dev Ops or platform architecture contexts.

Good to Have:

- Experience with Snyk application security scanning (SAST and SCA testing)
