We are looking for a qualified and customer-focused Optometrist to join our Titan Eye+ store at Shyamal Cross Road. The role will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, identifying vision-related issues, recommending appropriate corrective solutions, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and accurately assess visual acuity and refractive errors.
- Perform refraction and prescribe appropriate corrective lenses as per clinical requirements.
- Use optometric equipment including autorefractor, keratometer, slit lamp, retinoscope, tonometer, and other diagnostic instruments.
- Identify common ocular conditions and appropriately advise customers on further consultation with an ophthalmologist when required.
- Explain eye-test results and lens/vision solutions clearly to customers and provide appropriate guidance.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with qualified, ethical, and safety standards.
- Work closely with the store team to provide a seamless and high-quality customer experience.
- Maintain professional conduct and ensure hygiene and proper upkeep of the examination area and equipment.
- Participate in product, clinical, and process training to remain updated with advancements in optometry and eyewear.
Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Optometry (B.Optom) from a recognized institution. Valid registration/licence as applicable under prevailing regulatory requirements. Strong knowledge of refraction, binocular vision, ocular health assessment, and eye-testing procedures. Hands-on proficiency with standard optometric instruments and diagnostic equipment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer-handling skills. Strong attention to detail and clinical decision-making abilities. Professional, empathetic, and customer-oriented approach. Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a retail store team. Prior experience in retail optometry/optical stores will be an advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
