Tektontech Solutions LLP is looking for an experienced SPM / Fixture Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Special Purpose Machine (SPM) Design, Fixture Design, and Mechanical Design Engineering.

The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, fixtures, and special-purpose machines according to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) based on customer/project requirements.
- Design jigs, fixtures, tooling, and mechanical assemblies.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models.
- Develop manufacturing-ready drawings with proper dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform design calculations and select suitable mechanical components.
- Coordinate with production/manufacturing teams for design feasibility.
- Modify and optimize existing designs based on project requirements.
- Ensure designs meet required quality, functionality, and safety standards.
- Review drawings, assemblies, BOMs, and other engineering documentation.
- Work independently as well as collaborate with the engineering team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in SPM Design, Fixture Design, or Mechanical Design.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles.




- Practical experience in SPM and Fixture Design.
- Good knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T;, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with relevant CAD/design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo, or similar tools.
- Ability to understand project requirements and convert them into practical engineering designs.
- Positive problem-solving and communication skills.
