Youkoso Stays is looking for a proactive and hands-on Property Operations & Guest Relations Manager to oversee the maintenance, upkeep and guest experience across our hospitality properties in Chennai.

This is not purely a maintenance role. We are looking for someone who can ensure our properties are maintained to a high standard while also interacting confidently with guests, resolving concerns and helping us consistently deliver an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Property Maintenance & Operations

- Regularly inspect all Youkoso Stays properties and identify maintenance requirements proactively.

- Ensure guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas, swimming pools, kitchens, outdoor areas and equipment are maintained in excellent condition.

- Coordinate electrical, plumbing, AC, carpentry, painting, civil and general maintenance work.

- Coordinate and follow up with technicians and external vendors until work is completed satisfactorily.

- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all properties.

- Respond quickly to breakdowns or maintenance issues that could affect guests.

- Obtain quotations and help control maintenance costs.

- Work closely with property managers, caretakers and housekeeping teams to maintain property standards.

Guest Relations

- Regularly interact with guests during their stay and ensure they are comfortable.

- Check with guests regarding their stay experience and address concerns immediately.

- Handle guest complaints calmly and professionally and coordinate quick solutions.





- Build a friendly and professional relationship with guests without being intrusive.

- Follow up on guest requests and ensure they are completed.

- Coordinate with property teams to improve overall guest satisfaction.

- Encourage satisfied guests to share their experience through Google reviews and other relevant review platforms.

- Monitor recurring guest feedback and communicate areas requiring improvement to management.

Candidate Requirements

- Previous experience in hotels, resorts, serviced apartments, villas, facility management or hospitality operations preferred.

- Good understanding of general property maintenance including electrical, plumbing, AC and basic civil works.

- Valuable communication skills and ability to confidently interact with guests.

- Strong problem-solving and complaint-handling skills.

- Ability to coordinate staff, technicians and external vendors.

- Proactive attitude — should identify and resolve problems rather than wait for them to be reported.

- Willing to travel regularly between multiple Youkoso Stays properties in Chennai.

- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.

- Basic knowledge of WhatsApp, Google reviews and everyday smartphone applications.

Experience: 3+ years preferred, ideally in hospitality/property operations.

Salary: Based on experience and capability.

We are looking for someone who takes complete ownership of property condition and guest satisfaction — someone who notices problems before guests do, gets them resolved quickly and ensures guests leave with a positive impression of Youkoso Stays.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
