Linux System Administrator / Cloud Engineer

Experience: 5+ Years | Work Mode: Production Support | Shift: IST + On-Call

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly hands-on Linux System Administrator / Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise Linux, GCP, Ansible, Bash, and Python. The role will focus on production infrastructure, patching, automation, security, troubleshooting, and cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities

Administer enterprise RHEL, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu & Debian environments.

Perform monthly patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation & security updates.

Manage and support GCP cloud infrastructure.

Automate operations using Ansible, Bash & Python.

Troubleshoot Linux, applications, middleware, networking, and production issues.

Support infrastructure builds, POCs, incident response, and on-call activities.





Collaborate with Infrastructure & Security teams and maintain technical documentation.

Must-Have Skills

5+ years Linux System Administration

80% Linux / 20% Windows Administration

Strong hands-on GCP experience

Robust Ansible experience

Excellent Bash & Python scripting

Linux patching, security & vulnerability remediation

Strong production troubleshooting skills

Good to Have

Commvault (big plus), Terraform/IaC, VMware, AWS, Git/GitLab, Kubernetes, Windows Server.

Candidate Profile: Strong production/operations mindset, excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, and willingness to support IST hours and on-call operations.
